Pour ne plus jamais y aller
Beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'on obtient

It is clear that the rooms are ready for some refreshment in regard to paint/ finish/ curtains and so forth.
Main problem…..using the shower/bathtub…all the water that came on the outside of the shower/bathtub I had to dry up my self since there was no draining and the angle of the floor was the opposite of what it should have been to secure correct draining of excessive water.

the hotel is in not so nice place, the reception is very small. the hotel has no parking, you must walk 2 streets till the parking and 20 minutes to the city centre. its only puffs and sex shops near the hotel in the night you have the disco another site of street, the rooms are beautifull and delux rooms have jakuzzi.

Hotel good but noise from outside very loud all night long from nightclub situated very close by.

Bonjour,
++ Accueil remarquable
-- Climatisation en panne
-- Poubelle salle de bain non vidée
-- "Nettoyage" très approximatif du jacuzzi
-- Fraicheur de la chambre limite (vernis mobilier ecaillé, porte coulissante de la salle d'eau bloquée et cassée)

un peu plus de photos des chambres sur le site serait parfait !

Well, I can only say that if travellers think this is a 4 or 5 star hotel, they obviously haven't stayed in one ! Shabby Chic is different from just plain shabby ! I think when new it was probably fab, but so much of it is looking sad and worn now - it needs an overhaul. There are no facilities apart from a tiny reception area, and a minute underground breakfast room, so if you want to be holed up in your room with no other areas to go to, this is the place for you !
We expected a shower, but only got a jacuzzi....when I asked the French receptionist if we could change, he was so rude and offhand, and basically turned away from me and said he couldn't help - then he ignored me until I went away !!!!
Rubbish design of the jacuzzi meant the bathroom resembled a tsunami if you used the hand held spray when sitting in it...spent a lot of time mopping up gallons of water! Good points - Polite young man made a nice breakfast for us - the cleaning staff were very helpful...and you can sit at your open louvre window watching the pimps, drug dealers and prostitutes doing their thing round Pigalle from 8am onwards - mighty interesting ! Also, it is very close to Montmartre and there are lots of small but excellent restaurants and bars up the side streets if you search them out - not on Pigalle ! Do I sound unimpressed ? True. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world, so know the difference....this is not it ! However, if you fancy staying in something which is a little bit seedy in an area which is DEFINITELY seedy, this will be right up your street. Lastly, I am NOT American, I have travelled extensively in Europe and know what to expect, so I am not talking from a viewpoint of no experience .
I have never written a review of a hotel before, so you know that I must have felt fairly strongly about my experience to have bothered to do this !

This is a fun hotel! The little lamps in the rooms are crazy, really there is lots of love put into the decorations. Cute staff. It is a very private and calm hotel. The area is not bad at all. Lots of tourists walking around til late. We arrived at Orly by ten pm, took the metro to Gare de Nord and walked from there to the hotell. No problem at all, and no dark alleys!

We were absolutly charmed by the quality and comfort of the room with a jacuzzi, the employees did their best to offer total satisfaction. It was a total surprise for my husband & we spent a really good week-end in Paris thnaks to Villa Royale!

We really appreciate the warm welcome from Alain at the Front Desk and all his suggestions.
The room was well-equipped, and nice as we expected. We suggest you to control the filters of the Jacuzzi because the water after few moments was dirty; and we not using yet. We really will recommend your hotel to everybody.
Thanks.
