I would suggest it if somebody really wants to stay in that area. The hotel was pretty old and dark, you could hardly read because the lamp close to the bed was did not give that much light. In the bathroom, especilly in the morning, it was a bad smellof mold ( I am not sure that that is the right word for it ).

1.- no air condition, it was hot
2.- the last 2 days no hot water
3.- not qualify for a 4-star hotel, not even a 3-star
4.- very bad conditions
5.- we have to move on the fourth night, we could not resist the service offered
we will not recommend this hotel

On opposite side of the street is a supermarket and there where deliveries late in the evening and early in the morning which made a lot of noise.

The room was comfortable, although the bed was smaller than an average double bed. the bathroom was fantastic.

The hotel staff was wonderful and for that reason we would return to the Villa Opera Drouot on our next visit to Paris.

My room was under the roof. The heat was unbearable, around 30C. I had assumed it was the heat from the roof on this very sunny day, but I later was informed, upon departure, that the air conditioning system was faulty and blowing hot air (whereas I had assumed it was struggling because it was not strong enough). It would have been nice to have this information: I would have switched the air conditioning off, opened the windows, and a nice cool temperature would have been restored within 15 minutes.
Ma chambre etait sous les toits. Je l'ai trouvee vers 19h30 avec une temperature de plus de 30C. J'ai pense que c'etait la chaleur du toit. On ne m'a informe d'un probleme d'air conditionne que le lendemain lors de mon depart. Si on me l'avait dit plus tot, en ouvrant les 3 fenetres et fermant l'air cnditionne qui soufflait de l'air chaud, le probleme aurait ete resolu en un quart d'heure.
Hormis cela, j'ai bien aime le cadre, le style, le confort, la localisation de l'hotel.
Je ne prends jamais mon petit dejeuner dan un hotel quand je peux trouver des croissants tout chauds juste a cote (pour 5 fois moins cher en moyenne)... Donc pas de commentaire pour le petit dejeuner.
