Second worst hotel stay I have experienced. This should be a motel and valued at less than 75 euros per night.
Hotel is expensive for what it offers. One could barely swing a cat in the bedroom and just about get into the en-suite.But the reception staff is good and helpful, the location is good, and overall stay was hassle free.

THE ROOM IS WAY TOOO SMALL....cannot even open the bathroom door, blocked by the bed.
'buffet' breakfast was three bakery items handed on a plate - the waitress then disappeared. coffee in a dispenser was only warm. no yoghourts. no meats. slivers of cheese in plastic. no offer of further bread/croissant. did not have breakfast second morning. told reception dissatisfaction but was still charged for brekfast previous day.

3 minute walk to Villiers Metro stop so getting around Paris was easy!
Walking in the streets around the hotel gives you a great feel amongst the locals people and the local shops which is always good to experience when you are in a new city!
Some nice coffee shops in the area!
In the room 252, the tiling of the bathroom was broken. The sleeping room was cramped. The door between bathroom and sleeping room could'nt open completely, blocked by the bed. The shower was'nt practical (protection above the bath). The price = 89 € two expansive with these problems. Breakfast in buffet ok, but only 1 bread and 1 pastrie. The price = 9 € two expansive two. On the other hand, I was enjoy about silence in the hotel and outside.
An excellent location in a really pretty area of Paris, surrounded with street markets and good restuarants, try eating at the Le petit canon just around the corner excellent service and great food.

Seulement 5 chaines de télévisions pour un hôtel 3 étoiles...Et en plus mal réglées...
Chambre correcte et propre, personnel compréhensif et bon rapport qualité/prix pour 69€/nuit
My single room was rather small -- that's OK I suppose, but the room had a musty smell and the bed covering was filthy -- it probably had not been washed in months. The TV had only 5 channels and even then the reception was poor.

Three eternal problems in hotel in Paris :
1. carpet and his cleanliness
2. size of room
3. freezing cold in rooms (because of the electrical warming which is cut off at night)
Good point : good baby bed
The cost of local telephone calls from the hotel room is atrocious and people should be advised that it is ridiculously expensive to make even a local phone call from the room. I was extremely disappointed to receive a bill of around $60USD/44 Euros for local calls. It's an outrage. Other than that...I love staying at Pavillon Villiers Etoile and will continue to stay there on my future visits to Paris.
