The staff were very helpful and friendly nice area it was just the cleaning of the rooms which was very poor

This hotel was recommended to me by friends who had stayed there, and it lived up to expectations. I would certainly recommend it to others. It has a metro at the end of the street, and the Gare du Nord is nearby.

Hotel in excellent location, by the metro, for all main attractions -just get a 10 ticket carnet. The hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient and the room, although not large, was tastefully decorated and very comfortable (plus complimentary bottle of wine and basket of fruit). We had a great few days and would love to go back to the same hotel again to continue our explorations.

Quad room was small and shower head had to be held to get a proper shower. First night there were noises either coming from plumbing or lift shaft that kept us awake. Double bed was very small for a hotel of this caliber

We enjoyed our stay in a quiet room overlooking the garden. Staff were all welcoming and professional.

Only criticism is the rooms are small (we were meeting friends who had been travelling Europe and had big cases - whereas we had come on Eurostar with a weekend bag) with minimal room to accomodate clothing and cases. Beds were twin but narrow and side by side so we practically touched noses if you turn over in the night (2 women sharing)! Staff on reception desk were exceptionally helpful and spoke good English. Hotel close to 2 metro stations so easy access to centre of city. Small bar and seating area and very nice surroundings inside hotel lounge. Recommended if you have minimal luggage and don't want to spend the day in bed ;-)

The staff was excellent! They made our stay comfortable and very pleasant. The outer courtyard is a great touch and the bartender, Jacques, is a great asset to the hotel. The rooms were small but adequare and the soundproofing was excellent. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to others without reservation.

I had no complaints about this hotel at all My only comment is concerning the size of the rooms Like most European rooms it was tiny. I would not recommend the room for a couple, for a single traveller it was perfect
The staff couldn't have been more helpful no request was a bother

My wife and I enjoyed our first trip to Paris, our experience was greatly enhanced by the excellent location of Hotel Opera which is convenient to 3 Metro stations. The staff were pleasant and helpful with directions etc. Local restaurants were quite satisfactory and well priced, unfortunately the hotel is quite close to "La Fayette" shopping stores which put quite a strain on the " old credit card".
Overall we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and location for a city break.
